I’m Laiken Collier, the founder and designer of Collier Collectives Embroidery!

My love for embroidery began long before Collier Collectives ever had a name. As a child, I stood at the side of my grandmother, a talented seamstress, and my mother, watching their hands pour endless hours into sewing and embroidery. What started as a hobby grew into something much deeper. It has become a legacy rooted in love, delicate detail, and the beauty of creating something that lasts.

They created pieces together that felt personal; keepsakes made with intention, meant to be treasured long after the moment had passed. Nearly twenty years later, my mother has continued building the small business she and my grandmother once dreamed of together, an example of dedication and artistry that has shaped me in more ways than I can express.

Now, after years of inspiration, I am carrying that tradition forward as a third-generation embroiderer, creating thoughtfully designed pieces that are meant to feel personal, timeless, and uniquely yours.

Becoming a mother to my daughter, Georgia, has given this passion an even deeper meaning. There is something so sacred about the sweetest seasons of life, the fleeting moments you wish you could hold onto forever. My hope is to create pieces that help families do just that.

At Collier Collectives, I want to create those timeless, bespoke keepsakes for the precious moments.

Every piece is thoughtfully created with the hope that it becomes more than just something beautiful. I want it to become something you reach for years from now, something that brings back a little piece of a season you never wanted to forget.
